LANCASTER, PA — Sight & Sound has revealed its next major production, “JOSHUA,” set to debut on March 14, 2026, at the iconic theater in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Announced during a live audience event on April 29, the production promises to deliver a groundbreaking immersive theatrical experience, three years in the making.

The story of “JOSHUA” follows the Israelites’ historic quest to the Promised Land, chronicling monumental biblical moments such as the giving of the Ten Commandments, the crossing of the Jordan River, and the fall of Jericho’s walls. Utilizing a massive state-of-the-art LED screen and three-story tall sets, audiences will be transported through desert storms, manna from heaven, and Joshua’s ultimate test of faith. The production also features a cast of nearly 60 performers, bringing these powerful events to life.

“Joshua’s story includes so many monumental moments from the Bible—from the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai to manna falling from heaven and the crossing of the Jordan River,” said Katie Miller, Director of Brand Development at Sight & Sound. “Audiences will journey alongside Joshua as these epic events come to life on stage.”

The creative team behind “JOSHUA” emphasized the story’s deeper message, blending action-packed scenes with themes of redemption and trust in the Lord. “We knew JOSHUA was going to have awesome production value, but as we began to dig deeper into the story, this beautiful theme of redemption emerged,” said Show Producer Ryan Miller. “There are countless individuals, from Moses and Joshua to Rahab, who live out this radical trust in the Lord. My hope is audiences will see themselves reflected in these characters and be inspired, just like Joshua, to ‘be strong and courageous.’”
