SEI Investments Company

OAKS, PA — SEI (NASDAQ: SEIC) has created a new global leadership position focused on expanding professional services across its technology and operations businesses, a move that signals the company’s growing emphasis on consulting and transformation work for financial services clients.

The company appointed Matt Provencher as Global Head of Enterprise Professional Services, a newly established role responsible for developing and scaling SEI’s professional services capabilities across its global operations.

Provencher will oversee the company’s enterprise-wide professional services strategy and delivery model, supporting clients using SEI’s technology platforms, data services, cybersecurity offerings, systems integration capabilities, automation tools, and business process outsourcing services.

The appointment reflects a broader push by financial technology and services firms to deepen client relationships through advisory and implementation services tied to technology modernization and operational transformation projects.

SEI indicated that Provencher will report to Sanjay Sharma, CEO of SEI International and Global Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management, while working across the company’s sales, technology, operations, and client management teams.

“Professional services are central to how we help clients translate strategy into execution in an environment defined by accelerating change,” Sharma stated. He added that clients are increasingly seeking assistance with operating model transformation and technology implementation rather than isolated operational support.

Provencher joins SEI from NTT DATA, where he most recently served as president of North America Banking, Financial Services and Insurance.

According to SEI, he previously oversaw professional services operations spanning sales, delivery, operations, and financial performance and has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and consulting organizations.

“As financial services organizations face growing complexity, they need a partner that can help them navigate change, execute with precision, and create lasting value,” Provencher stated.

SEI said the expanded professional services effort will support clients across its ecosystem of platforms and operational solutions, including SEI Data Cloud, systems integration, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and automation initiatives, and business process outsourcing.
