LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced roadway reconstruction scheduled for next week on eastbound U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County.
The construction will take place from Monday, June 30, through Wednesday, July 2, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. During this period, periodic lane closures will occur on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) interchanges. Motorists are encouraged to plan for travel delays and allow extra time as traffic backups are expected. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
This reconstruction is part of PennDOT’s extensive $83.6 million initiative to improve approximately 2.1 miles of U.S. 422. The project includes roadway reconstruction as well as the replacement of key bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township, aimed at enhancing safety and infrastructure longevity.
