PHILADELPHIA, PA — Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard has introduced four limited-time pumpkin and apple butter products, expanding its seasonal menu as the frozen dessert chain targets demand for fall flavors across its coffee, custard and milkshake offerings.
The lineup includes Pumpkin Frozen Coffee, Pumpkin Pie Concrete, Apple Butter Milkshake and Apple Butter Concrete.
Pumpkin Frozen Coffee combines the company’s frozen coffee with pumpkin crème and whipped cream.
The Pumpkin Pie Concrete blends vanilla frozen custard with pumpkin crème and vanilla wafers.
The Apple Butter Milkshake features vanilla frozen custard blended with apple butter flavor and topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
The Apple Butter Concrete combines vanilla frozen custard, apple butter flavor, vanilla wafers and apple pie topping.
The returning seasonal flavors extend beyond Rita’s traditional Italian ice business into higher-variety frozen beverages and custard-based desserts.
“We’re bringing back the Pumpkin and Apple Butter flavors our guests crave with a cool Rita’s twist,” stated Carmela Hughley, the company’s senior vice president of marketing insights and innovation.
Rita’s also offers frozen custard, gelati, frozen coffee, milkshakes and Blendinis, alongside Italian ice made daily and selected from a rotating portfolio of more than 80 flavors.
