READING, PA — Redner’s Markets announced the launch of its new mobile app on March 5, offering customers access to rewards, gas and grocery points, and online ordering services.
The app allows users to collect and redeem fuel and grocery rewards, place grocery delivery and pickup orders, and access catering services, the company said.
Redner’s said the app also provides access to exclusive promotions and savings available only through the platform.
To mark the launch, the company said it will host a five-store promotional tour called the “Appiness Tour,” beginning March 10 at the Redner’s Fresh Market in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.
The tour will include in-store events featuring giveaways, demonstrations of the new app and customer recognition activities.
“For 56 years, Redner’s has taken pride in delivering on the needs of our shoppers and our communities,” President and Chief Executive Officer Ryan Redner said.
The app includes a fuel rewards program that provides a five-cent discount per gallon for every $50 spent in stores.
Redner’s said the discount can be redeemed at participating fuel stations including Speedway and Sunoco.
Customers who download the app during launch week will receive a coupon for a free 24-pack of Redner’s spring water, according to the company.
Gary M. Redner, the company’s chief operating officer, said the promotional tour is intended to introduce customers to the app and its features.
“These tour events will be fun celebrations showcasing everything this app can do,” he said.
The company said tour events are scheduled for March 10 in Douglassville, Pennsylvania; March 19 in Audubon, Pennsylvania; March 25 in Allentown, Pennsylvania; March 31 in Bel Air, Maryland; and April 8 in Lewes, Delaware.
The Redner’s mobile app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
