WILMINGTON, DE — Qnity Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: Q) is pairing shareholder returns with a leadership transition, announcing a quarterly cash dividend and naming a new interim head of its Semiconductor Technologies business as it navigates shifting market conditions.
The company said its board has approved a dividend of $0.08 per share on outstanding common stock. The dividend will be paid March 16, 2026, to stockholders of record as of February 27, 2026, continuing Qnity’s regular return of capital to investors.
At the same time, Qnity named Sam Ponzo as interim president of its Semiconductor Technologies segment, effective immediately. Ponzo succeeds Sang Ho Kang, who is departing the role following what the company described as a mutual decision.
Ponzo brings nearly thirty years of strategic and operational experience to the post. Most recently, he served as Qnity’s chief strategy and commercial officer, overseeing corporate strategy, commercial execution, and key customer relationships. Before Qnity’s formation, he spent more than twenty-five years at DuPont, holding senior leadership roles across its electronics and industrial businesses.
From 2019 through 2024, Ponzo was vice president and general manager of DuPont’s Industrial Solutions business within the Electronics & Industrial segment, a portfolio that included several operations that now sit within Qnity’s advanced electronics lineup. During that period, he was credited with driving revenue growth, operational improvements, and portfolio actions, including acquisitions.
In the interim role, Ponzo will work closely with the Semiconductor Technologies leadership team, which Qnity said brings decades of industry experience and long-standing relationships with the company’s core customers.
Qnity said it has launched a comprehensive search for a permanent president of the segment. The combination of a declared dividend and a seasoned interim appointment signals an effort to project continuity and confidence as the company balances near-term execution with longer-term strategic priorities in the semiconductor market.
