Pond Lehocky Giordano

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP has added three attorneys with backgrounds in workers’ compensation, personal injury, and complex litigation as the Philadelphia-based law firm continues a rapid expansion that has increased its attorney headcount by 50% since the start of the year.

The hires bring established client bases, trial experience, and regional market presence to a firm that has been expanding its footprint in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and beyond, according to the company.

Partners Marla A. Joseph and Mark A. Leonetti joined the firm alongside Senior Litigation Attorney Louis D’Onofrio, strengthening practices focused on workers’ compensation, personal injury, Social Security disability, and commercial litigation.

Joseph brings more than 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation and Social Security disability law. She previously operated her own boutique practice and has held leadership roles within the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania bar associations.

“Joining Pond Lehocky allows me to elevate the individualized care I have always championed,” Joseph stated. “By combining my decades of local relationships and specialized experience with the firm’s innovative platform, we can advocate for injured individuals on a much grander scale.”

Leonetti joins as managing partner of the firm’s New Jersey auto and workers’ compensation practice. Based in Haddonfield, he has nearly 35 years of experience representing clients in personal injury, workplace injury, and premises liability matters.

Over his career, Leonetti has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars in settlements and benefits for clients, according to the firm. He has also worked on both the defense and plaintiff sides of litigation.

“Bringing my practice to Pond Lehocky allows me to take my work for injured workers and accident victims to the next level,” Leonetti stated. “With the firm’s relentless drive and robust technical infrastructure, I am perfectly positioned to fight for the substantial compensation our clients rightfully deserve.”

D’Onofrio joins the litigation team after serving as a deputy attorney general with the Delaware Department of Justice and later returning to private practice. During more than two decades in the legal profession, he has handled civil, criminal, fraud, consumer protection, and insurance defense matters.

“This next chapter allows me to channel decades of trial experience into a firm synonymous with relentless advocacy,” D’Onofrio stated. “I look forward to leveraging Pond Lehocky’s resources to defend our clients in complex litigation.”

Samuel Pond, a founding partner of the firm, linked the hiring push to the firm’s broader growth strategy and focus on representing workers nationwide.

“We have brought so many great attorneys onto our team over the last six months because we are actively looking for ways to better protect workers across the country,” Pond stated.
