WILMINGTON, DE — The Wilmington Police Department has announced an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident that took place on Sunday at approximately 10:57 p.m. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of East 28th Street.

During the incident, a 20-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound. He has been taken to the hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition. Law enforcement continues to investigate.
