Pipe Replacement Will Close May Post Office Road, Expect Delays

Road Closed

STRASBURG TWP, PA — A PennDOT maintenance crew will replace a pipe on May Post Office Road (Route 2015) in Strasburg Township, Lancaster County. The work is scheduled to begin at 6:30 AM on Monday, June 10, weather permitting.

The road will be closed to through traffic between Shaub Road and Sawmill Road. A detour will route drivers via Sawmill Road, Weaver Road, Bunker Hill Road, and Shaub Road.

Residents on May Post Office Road will still have access to their homes.

Motorists should allow extra travel time due to expected slowdowns in the area. The project is set to be completed by Tuesday, June 18, when the road will reopen to traffic.

PennDOT’s efforts will ensure better infrastructure and safer travel for all.
