SOUTHAMPTON TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacement work will cause significant traffic disruptions on Maple Avenue in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County this week.
On Thursday, June 13, and Friday, June 14, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Maple Avenue will be closed between Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 232 (Second Street Pike). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 132 and Route 232.
Local access will be maintained. Drivers should allow extra time when traveling near the work area, as backups and delays are expected. All activities are weather dependent.
These repairs are part of PennDOT’s ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and ensure roadway safety.
