BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a pipe replacement project on Route 332 (Newtown Richboro Road) in Northampton and Newtown townships. This initiative is part of a larger effort to enhance stormwater management facilities across more than 90 state highways in the Philadelphia region.

The construction will start on Tuesday, September 3, and is expected to continue through early October. Work will occur on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, necessitating a lane closure on Route 332 between West Hanover Street and Rock Way.

Motorists should plan for additional travel time due to potential traffic delays and backups. The project is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Highway Materials, Inc., based in Flourtown, Montgomery County, is overseeing the project, funded entirely by state resources.
