PHILADELPHIA, PA — Spring in Center City is getting a fresh new tradition as Dilworth Park transforms into a vibrant open-air marketplace celebrating the best of Philadelphia’s local makers, artists, and flavors.
For the first time, the Made in Philadelphia Market is launching a Spring Market, bringing more than 60 local vendors together for a three-day shopping and community experience right outside City Hall. Set against blooming tulips and the return of Dilworth Park’s fountains, the event offers a perfect excuse to step outside and soak in the season.
Running Friday through Sunday, April 10–12, the market invites visitors to browse everything from handmade jewelry and art to home décor, apparel, and Philly-themed goods—all crafted by small businesses from across the region.
Food is also front and center, with a lineup of local favorites serving up everything from thick-cut bacon skewers and fresh baked goods to locally distilled spirits and handcrafted honey wine. Whether you’re shopping for something unique or just looking for a relaxed afternoon in the city, the market delivers a little bit of everything.
“The new Made in Philadelphia Market Spring Market and the revamped Made in Philadelphia Market Series reflect the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit that defines Philadelphia,” said CEO Thomas Bauer. “We are proud to activate Dilworth Park year-round, creating spaces where local businesses can thrive and the community can gather throughout every season.”
Shop Local, Celebrate Philly
The Spring Market marks the beginning of a newly expanded, year-round Made in Philadelphia Market Series, designed to keep Dilworth Park active across every season. Organizers of the popular Christmas Village have partnered with the Center City District to create a lineup of seasonal markets that highlight the region’s creative talent.
Shoppers can expect a curated mix of vendors like ANIMA Natural Pet Products, Lila N’ Berry, Lily Lough Jewelry, and Native Trashion, alongside specialty food favorites like Bacon on a Stick, The Pickle Jar, and The Candy Lady Store.
The atmosphere is intentionally welcoming and family-friendly, making it an easy addition to any weekend plans—whether you’re visiting Center City or already part of the neighborhood.
