Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Wallace Street Robbery

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Philadelphia Police are calling for the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery that took place on the 1800 block of Wallace Street on November 27, 2023.

At approximately 10:45 pm, two 28-year-old male victims were accosted by two unknown males who emerged from a dark grey compact sedan. The suspects, both armed with handguns, demanded and took the victims’ belongings, which included air pods, a watch, wallets, and keys. After the robbery, the suspects reentered their vehicle and were last seen heading north on 18th St towards Fairmount Ave.

The first suspect is described as a black male, 20 years of age, wearing all dark clothing. The second suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt with stripes on the left shoulder, dark pants, and light-colored sneakers.

The Central Detective Division has released a video clip of the suspects and is asking anyone who recognizes these individuals to come forward with information.

The Philadelphia Police Department advises the public not to approach the suspects if seen, but to contact 911 immediately. Tips can be submitted via telephone by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to the same number. All tips will remain confidential.
