Philadelphia Police Seek Information on Hit-and-Run Incident on Knights Road

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Philadelphia Police Department is requesting the public’s help following a critical hit-and-run incident that occurred on Sunday, November 26, 2023, on the 11000 block of Knights Road.

According to police reports, at approximately 8:06 pm, an unknown individual driving a dark-colored SUV allegedly struck a 69-year-old female pedestrian while pulling out of a parking lot. The driver then reportedly left the scene, heading on Knights Road towards Red Lion Road.

Medic 48 was on location and promptly transported the victim to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, where she is currently listed in critical condition.

The public is urged not to approach the suspect if they are seen, but to contact 911 immediately. Tips can be submitted via telephone at 215.686.TIPS (8477) or texted to the same number. All tips will be kept confidential.
