LANGHORNE, PA — Perspecta is expanding its visibility among workers’ compensation insurers and administrators as the provider-data company sponsors the opening reception at the 80th annual Workers’ Compensation Institute Conference in Orlando, Florida, this month.
The conference runs Aug. 23-26 at the Orlando World Center Marriott and is expected to draw thousands of workers’ compensation professionals and health care industry participants for educational sessions, networking and industry discussions.
Perspecta will sponsor the Aug. 23 Welcome Reception and participate throughout the four-day conference, using the event to meet with insurers, third-party administrators and other organizations involved in workers’ compensation.
The Langhorne company provides provider-data management and search technology designed to help workers’ compensation organizations connect injured employees with health care providers. Perspecta reports that its technology is used by more than 80% of the workers’ compensation market, including the 10 largest carriers and third-party administrators.
The company also reports supporting nearly 51 million users annually and maintaining a database containing more than 630 million provider records, with a data accuracy rate exceeding 95%.
“WCI continues to be one of the most important events in our industry because it brings together so many organizations that are working toward the same goal—helping injured workers receive the right care at the right time,” Perspecta Chief Executive Officer April Stiles stated.
Stiles will attend alongside Senior Vice President of Sales Jessica McCarthy, Vice President of Sales Erin Finn and Senior Director of Sales Marc Shelgren.
Perspecta plans to demonstrate its provider-data and search products during the conference, focusing on their use in managing claims duration, costs and access to care.
