BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — PECO Energy is set to perform utility construction on two major state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties, according to a recent announcement. The construction work is scheduled to take place from Monday, December 4, through Friday, December 29.

In Buckingham Township, Bucks County, a weekday lane closure is planned on Route 413 (Durham Road) at the intersection with Church Road. The closure will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the construction period.

Similarly, in Red Hill Borough, Montgomery County, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Main Street) between 4th Street and 5th Street. The closure will also take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the construction days.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near these work areas as backups and delays are expected to occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent, and dates may shift accordingly.

The utility construction projects fall under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit and align with PECO Energy’s ongoing efforts to improve the reliability and safety of their service.
