NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — A new partnership between Apple Vacations, Belletrist Book Club, and Penguin Random House is set to delight bookworms and beach-goers alike. The “Pages in Paradise” program, launching this January at the luxury all-inclusive resort Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana, offers a uniquely curated library of beach reads for vacationers looking to fulfill their New Year’s resolutions of reading more and traveling.

Belletrist co-founders Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss have curated a collection of beach reads for the program, which will be housed in a newly unveiled lobby library at Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana. The selection includes favorites like Priya Guns’ Your Driver is Waiting, Emma Cline’s The Guest, and Zadie Smith’s The Fraud. Guests who book through Apple Vacations can reserve books in advance, which will be delivered upon arrival by the hotel team.
The celebration of literature doesn’t stop at the library. The “Pages in Paradise” program will host a “Poolside Pages Happy Hour” throughout the year, featuring a book cart of select reads and a themed book-of-the-month specialty cocktail, the “Pages Pour,” served at the resort’s Infinity Pool. Guests can sip on a blueberry mojito inspired by Happy Place by Emily Henry or a Sea Breeze, the favorite drink of Nina Riva, the main character in Taylor Jenkins Reid’s Malibu Rising.
Belletrist, founded in 2017 by best friends Emma Roberts and Karah Preiss, is a millennial-centric book club that has grown into a community for the curious, celebrating great books and their authors. The “Pages in Paradise” picks, curated in partnership with literary experts Penguin Random House, will be available in both English and Spanish for resort guests.
