MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Drivers traveling U.S. 422 through Limerick and Upper Providence townships should expect overnight delays beginning Sunday, August 23, as crews close lanes in both directions for milling and paving.

PennDOT advises motorists to plan extra time because backups and delays are expected through the work zone. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.
The restrictions are part of a $6.2 million project to resurface and repair 4.4 miles of U.S. 422. Additional work includes restoring pavement markings, reinstalling edge-line rumble strips, and completing base repairs where necessary.
Allan Myers Inc., of Worcester, is the general contractor. The project is financed entirely with state funding.
