PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that CSX will conduct nighttime bridge repairs on I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in Philadelphia.
From Friday, October 10, through Friday, October 24, a right lane closure will be in place weeknights from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on westbound I-76 between the 34th Street on-ramp and the University Avenue on-ramp. During this work, the ramp from University Avenue to westbound I-76 will also be closed, with drivers detoured via Market Street and Schuylkill Avenue.
PennDOT warns motorists to expect significant delays and allow extra time. All work is weather dependent.
