PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that overnight construction will close southbound I-95 in Center City Philadelphia on Thursday, October 16, as part of the $329 million I-95 CAP project.

From 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM, southbound I-95 and the ramp from eastbound I-676 to southbound I-95 will be closed between the I-676 (Callowhill Street) and Washington Avenue/Columbus Boulevard interchanges. Traffic will be detoured through local streets via Callowhill, 6th, Race, and Columbus Boulevard.
