OSI Digital Expands Boomi Role With Managed EDI Services

Boomi

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — OSI Digital has expanded its role in Boomi’s partner network with managed-service-provider status and software reselling rights, allowing the technology services company to take responsibility for licensing, administration and operations alongside its existing electronic data interchange services.

The expanded relationship gives OSI Digital a single-provider model for customers using Boomi for electronic data interchange, or EDI. OSI Digital can now manage Boomi licensing, platform administration, upgrades, integration services and ongoing support.

Boomi also named OSI Digital its FY26 Global Solution Partner of the Year for the company’s EDI work. The recognition was presented during Boomi’s Partner Summit in Chicago earlier this year.

The companies have worked together since 2017.

OSI Digital’s managed EDI service covers trading-partner onboarding, data mapping, round-the-clock monitoring, exception management and compliance support. The company said customers can choose different licensing and service tiers depending on their requirements.

“We are excited to achieve Boomi MSP status to further expand our ability to deliver fully managed EDI-as-a-Service solutions to organizations of all sizes,” Hilal Khan, OSI Digital’s vice president of enterprise automation and orchestration, said.

The service uses Boomi’s cloud integration platform to connect EDI transactions with enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, warehouse management and other business applications.

OSI Digital is also incorporating artificial intelligence into parts of the process, including trading-partner onboarding, EDI map generation and integration development.

The company is targeting manufacturers, logistics providers, retailers, health care and life sciences organizations, and financial-services companies. The underlying EDI processes include purchase orders, shipping notices, invoices, inventory information, claims and remittance workflows.

Boomi Senior Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels Dan McAllister said OSI Digital’s managed-service model combines its EDI operations with responsibility for licensing, mapping, monitoring and compliance.

“Their EDI-as-a-Service model gives customers a single trusted partner for everything from licensing and mapping to 24/7 monitoring and compliance,” McAllister said.

The FY26 recognition follows an earlier Boomi North America Systems Integrator Partner of the Year award for OSI Digital.
