READING, PA — Omega Systems named cybersecurity and IT-services veteran Bill Wosilius chief executive officer as the managed-services provider seeks to expand its business serving healthcare, financial services and other regulated organizations following a period of acquisitions and outside investment.
Wosilius succeeds Mike Fuhrman, who had led Omega since 2023. During Fuhrman’s tenure, the company completed two acquisitions and received an investment from Revelstoke Capital Partners in 2025.
Wosilius brings more than 25 years of executive experience in cybersecurity and IT services. He most recently worked as an operating adviser to private-equity firms investing in those sectors.
He previously spent five years as chief executive of NexusTek, where he oversaw the integration of nine acquisitions as the company expanded its managed IT and cybersecurity operations nationally. Before NexusTek, Wosilius led the technology-solutions business at Optiv Security.
His appointment comes as Omega positions cybersecurity, IT management and compliance as an integrated offering for customers operating under complex regulatory requirements.
“The expectations for managed service providers are changing fast, especially in highly regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services,” Wosilius stated. “Customers don’t want to manage IT, cybersecurity and compliance as three separate conversations.”
Wosilius stated that customers increasingly want providers capable of connecting those functions to operational efficiency, decision-making and risk management.
Revelstoke Capital Partners’ Andrew Welch cited Wosilius’ experience scaling IT and cybersecurity businesses as a factor in his selection to lead Omega.
The leadership change follows a period in which Omega expanded through acquisitions and made three consecutive appearances on CRN’s Triple Crown list for managed IT providers.
