READING, PA — Omega Systems announced the launch of Omega Care and Omega Shield, two managed IT and cybersecurity service bundles aimed at financial services and healthcare organizations facing increasing regulatory and insurance requirements.
The company said the new offerings are designed to align with evolving standards for cybersecurity compliance and cyber insurance coverage, as regulators and insurers require controls such as continuous monitoring, endpoint detection, multi-factor authentication, and employee training.
The launch comes as organizations in regulated industries face new requirements tied to rules from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, New York’s Department of Financial Services Part 500 cybersecurity regulation, and federal health privacy enforcement under HIPAA, according to the company.
“Financial services and healthcare organizations face an unprecedented convergence of regulatory demands, cybersecurity threats, and cyber insurance requirements,” said Ben Tercha, chief operating officer at Omega Systems. “These challenges demand a new approach.”
Omega Care provides tiered managed IT services structured around industry-specific support teams, while Omega Shield focuses on managed detection and response and continuous threat monitoring, supported by a 24/7 security operations center, the company said.
The company said both offerings are designed to help organizations meet compliance requirements while maintaining operational performance.
Omega Systems said the services are offered under a per-user pricing model intended to simplify purchasing decisions and reduce delays in adopting IT and security measures.
The launch follows the company’s inclusion on CRN’s Elite 150 Managed Service Providers list in North America and aligns with its internal research indicating that regulated organizations are increasingly seeking providers with industry-specific expertise.
