NIRI Philadelphia Elects Investor Relations Leaders to Board

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Members of the Philadelphia chapter of NIRI: The Association for Investor Relations have elected a new board of directors for the 2026-2027 term, installing a leadership team drawn from public companies, stock exchanges, and investor relations advisory firms across the region.

The appointments place investor relations executives from companies including FMC Corp., Stanley Black & Decker, Power Integrations, Cencora, American Water, and TE Connectivity in key leadership roles at one of the country’s largest regional organizations for investor relations professionals.

Nahla Azmy, founder of Strategic Investor Relations & Financial Communications at N2A Capital, will continue serving as president of the chapter.

“This past year reinforced what makes NIRI Philadelphia so special: the strength of our community, the depth of engagement among our members and the generosity of leaders who continue to invest in the profession,” Azmy said in a statement.

The chapter also announced the addition of John Dalhoff of Quaker Houghton, Melissa O’Brien of Cencora, Jack Quinn of American Water, and Cheryl Romanoski of TE Connectivity to its Programming, Marketing & Communications Committee.

NIRI Philadelphia thanked outgoing board member Gene Cleary for his service as his term concluded.

The 2026-2027 board includes Curt Brooks of FMC Corp. as senior vice president; Michael Wherley of Stanley Black & Decker as vice president and treasurer; Andrew Bjorkman of the New York Stock Exchange as vice president of membership; Joe Shiffler of Power Integrations as chair and vice president of programming, marketing and communications; Alex Whitelam of Dorman Products as executive vice president of technology; and Lisa Caperelli of Ardelyx as executive vice president of sponsorships.

Investor relations professionals serve as a key link between publicly traded companies and the investment community, managing communications with shareholders, analysts, and institutional investors while helping companies navigate increasingly complex disclosure and governance requirements.
