PHILADELPHIA, PA — Overnight drivers on I-95 should brace for delays this week as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) performs roadway repairs in South Philadelphia.

From Thursday, November 13, through Friday, November 21, lane closures will be in place nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on both northbound and southbound I-95 between the Bartram Avenue/Essington Avenue (Exit 14) and Bartram Avenue/Cargo City (Exit 10) interchanges.

PennDOT advises motorists to allow extra time and use caution when traveling through the area, as significant backups are expected. All work is weather dependent.
