PHILADELPHIA, PA — PennDOT announced that nighttime bridge deck repairs will take place next week on I-95 in Northeast Philadelphia as part of the $355.3 million I-95/BR3 project to widen and reconstruct northbound lanes between Wheatsheaf Lane and Margaret Street.
From Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24, lane closures will be in effect nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM on both directions of I-95 between the Allegheny Avenue and Cottman Avenue (Route 73) interchanges.
Motorists should expect delays, use alternate routes when possible, and allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
