PHILADELPHIA, PA — CSX will continue bridge repair work next week on I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway), prompting overnight lane and ramp closures in West Philadelphia.
From Monday, October 20, through Friday, October 24, a westbound lane will close nightly from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM between the 34th Street and University Avenue on-ramps. Additionally, from October 20 through Tuesday, October 28, the ramp from University Avenue to westbound I-76 will be closed and detoured via University Avenue/38th Street, Market Street, and Schuylkill Avenue.
Motorists should plan for delays and allow extra travel time. All work is weather dependent.
