  • Dates: Monday, April 6 – Friday, April 10
  • Times: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (overnight)

Southbound lane closures are scheduled between the Marple Road overpass and the Route 3 (West Chester Pike) interchange in Marple Township.

Additional restrictions include closures on the ramp from U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) to northbound I-476 in Radnor Township, and the ramp from U.S. 1 (Media Bypass) to northbound I-476 in Marple Township.

No detours have been posted, but motorists should expect congestion in active work zones. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes where possible, including using parallel local roads such as Route 320 (Sproul Road), Route 252 (Providence Road), and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) to avoid delays.

Plan extra time and expect backups during overnight travel hours. All work is weather dependent and may be adjusted if necessary.

The improvements are part of a $63.7 million project to resurface and repair nearly 17 miles of I-476 between I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in West Conshohocken and I-95 in Ridley Township. Work includes paving, bridge repairs, stormwater system upgrades, and installation of new traffic management technology.

H&K Group, Inc. of Skippack is the general contractor. The project is fully funded with federal funds.
