CHADDS FORD, PA — MOBILion Systems, Inc. is set to install its first MOBIE® instrument in Europe. The Pennsylvania-based company has entered into a partnership with The University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna (BOKU), an Agilent Partner Lab, in a move expected to advance research and provide valuable insights for the European pharma, biopharma, environmental testing, and academic communities.

The MOBIE system, designed to enhance and accelerate workflows for a variety of analyte classes, delivers analysis that is 5 to 60 times faster than conventional methods. By adding an extra dimension of separation, the system simplifies downstream data analysis by producing cleaner spectra. This not only increases throughput but also provides unprecedented reproducibility. The MOBIE platform can be added as a field upgrade or a full system and is compatible with Agilent 6545, 6545XT, and 6546 Q-TOF platforms.

Melissa Sherman, CEO of MOBILion, expressed her excitement about the partnership. “We are thrilled to be working with BOKU on our first installation of the MOBIE product in Europe. Leveraging their capabilities and expertise allows us to provide access and support to our European customers with demos and instrument familiarization training,” she said.

BOKU’s research objectives include investigating rapid separations of molecular and isomer systems and rigorously evaluating MOBIE’s value across diverse fields. These range from biotechnology to food and environmental studies, where the enhanced separation power of the MOBIE platform over existing technologies can be harnessed.
