RADNOR, PA — Mineralys Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: MLYS) granted stock options and restricted stock units covering a combined 81,253 shares to two newly hired non-executive employees as part of its recruitment compensation program.
The awards, approved Sept. 28 by the Compensation Committee of Mineralys’ board, include options covering 46,430 shares and restricted stock units covering 34,823 shares.
They were issued under the company’s 2025 Employment Inducement Incentive Award Plan and structured to qualify under Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4), which permits certain equity awards used to induce new employees to join a company.
The stock options vest over four years, with 25% vesting on the first anniversary of the Sept. 28 vesting commencement date and the remainder vesting monthly in 1/48 increments, subject to continued employment.
The restricted stock units also vest over four years, with 25% becoming vested on each of the first four anniversaries of the Sept. 28 commencement date, again contingent on continued service.
Mineralys is developing treatments targeting hypertension and diseases associated with dysregulated aldosterone, including chronic kidney disease and obstructive sleep apnea.
Its lead investigational candidate, lorundrostat, is an orally administered selective aldosterone synthase inhibitor.
