ELKTON, MD — Cecil College will open the new year with its annual Mind, Body and Spirit Festival, a two-day event returning January 23 and 24 that organizers say will transform downtown Elkton into a hub of holistic wellness, spiritual exploration, and personal renewal.
Now entering its 14th year, the festival has grown into a signature community event since its founding in 2011, drawing hundreds of attendees from across the region. Hosted at Cecil College’s Elkton Station, the gathering brings together spiritual practitioners, wellness experts, and artisans offering immersive experiences designed to promote balance, mindfulness, and self-discovery.
A centerpiece of the festival is its expansive vendor marketplace, featuring more than 175 artisans and wellness-focused businesses. Visitors will be able to browse crystals, essential oils, holistic remedies, organic skincare products, yoga supplies, clothing, aura photography services, and other items geared toward personal enrichment and thoughtful gifting.
The festival will occupy all three floors of Elkton Station at 107 Railroad Street, with vendors, demonstrations, and workshops spread throughout the space. Organizers said attendees can expect hands-on experiences and instruction in areas such as meditation, massage, reflexology, Reiki, nutrition, natural wellness, card readings, crystal energy, and spiritual counseling.
The 2026 festival will run Friday, January 23, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, January 24, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public, while workshops and breakout sessions will be offered for $15 per session, payable in cash on the day of the event.
Cecil College officials said the festival reflects the institution’s broader commitment to lifelong learning and community engagement, offering accessible opportunities for residents to explore wellness practices and new perspectives as the year begins.
Additional information about the Mind, Body and Spirit Festival and other lifelong learning programs is available through Cecil College’s continuing education department.
