PHILADELPHIA, PA — Mid Penn Bank, a subsidiary of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc. (Nasdaq: MPB), served as title sponsor of Junior Achievement of Southeastern Pennsylvania’s Future Bound Ignite event held April 16 at Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

The event brought together high school students participating in the Junior Achievement Company Program, where teams create and operate student-run businesses, the organization said.

Five student companies competed for Company of the Year, presenting their business ideas through an expo and formal presentations.

“Programs like this open doors and give students the confidence to take that next step,” Ibrahim said.

The event concluded with The Dare Deck earning the 2026 Company of the Year title, with top teams advancing to the national Future Bound competition.
