WILMINGTON, DE — Medialister has secured placement for its MCP connector in Anthropic’s Claude Connectors Directory, giving communications and marketing teams an in-product route to use the AI assistant for researching publications and building media-placement plans while keeping booking and transactions on Medialister.
The directory listing makes the connector discoverable through Claude rather than requiring users to manually add a custom connector by URL. Anthropic reviews connectors before their inclusion in the directory, according to Medialister.
The integration is aimed at communications, search-engine optimization, content and growth teams that use Claude in campaign planning. Users can provide campaign criteria through natural-language conversations to research publications, identify potential editorial advertising opportunities and organize results into placement plans.
The connector can also be used to develop publication shortlists based on geography, audience or industry, compare outlets against campaign requirements and incorporate media research into product-launch, public-relations and SEO planning.
“Media placement planning is still often fragmented across spreadsheets, publisher lists and manual research,” Alexander Storozhuk of Medialister stated.
The integration is intended to keep that research within the same AI environment teams may already use for strategy and content development, Storozhuk added.
The connector does not extend Claude into the commercial execution of campaigns. Advertising bookings and related transaction steps remain on Medialister, leaving customers to make purchasing decisions through the company’s platform.
Claude users can access the integration through the Connectors section of the service’s settings, browse the available connectors and authorize Medialister.
