KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Medecision was ranked among the leading innovators in U.S. population health management by Frost & Sullivan, strengthening the healthcare technology company’s market positioning as it shifts from traditional care management toward AI-enabled workflow orchestration.
The King of Prussia-based company received an “Innovators” distinction in Frost Radar: United States Population Health Management, 2026, placing ahead of more than six established companies on the report’s Innovation Index.
Frost & Sullivan cited Medecision’s transition toward an AI-enabled platform combining care orchestration, workflow intelligence and a unified data strategy.
The research firm described Medecision as an example of the population health management market’s movement “from analytics to execution,” with an emphasis on automation, workflow orchestration and operational scalability.
Medecision Chief Medical Officer William Gerardi linked the recognition to the company’s effort to build technology connecting health plans, providers and other organizations across the healthcare system.
“Innovation is only as powerful as the foundation on which it’s built,” Gerardi stated.
Frost & Sullivan defines population health management as technology and services that analyze patient data, identify opportunities to improve care, coordinate delivery and engagement, benchmark performance and manage financial risk.
The report also cited operational results reported across environments using Medecision technology, including 20% improvements in closing gaps in care, 10% reductions in emergency-room utilization and 20% efficiencies in administrative costs.
Those figures were presented by Frost & Sullivan as outcomes associated with deployed environments rather than results from a controlled comparative study.
The Innovators classification considers factors including technological advancement, research and development, intellectual property and the ability to commercialize and scale new capabilities.
Medecision’s technology includes a unified data platform, AI capabilities and workflow tools designed for health plans, providers and organizations bearing financial risk for patient populations.
The Frost & Sullivan recognition follows another 2026 industry ranking from Black Book Research, which placed Medecision first in care management, long-term services and supports, and complex care coordination technology.
