FAIR HILL, MD — The fifth annual MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill gallops back into Cecil County from October 16 through 19, bringing four days of elite equestrian competition, entertainment, and community celebration.

One of only two 5-star equestrian events in the United States, the Maryland 5 Star attracts top international riders and horses for a weekend of world-class performances. The event opens with Dressage on Thursday and Friday, followed by Saturday’s high-adrenaline Cross-Country phase and Sunday’s Show Jumping finale, where the championship title will be decided.

Beyond the competition, spectators can experience a mix of local culture and family fun, including live entertainment, regional food and beverage vendors, and special attractions such as the Beer, Wine & Spirits Expo, the Local Food Festival, and the fan-favorite Maryland Corgi Cup.

Last year’s event drew more than 32,000 attendees, and organizers anticipate even larger crowds this year as Fair Hill continues to establish itself as a premier destination for equestrian sport and community gatherings.
