COLLEGEVILLE, PA — Margo McDonnell, president and chief executive officer of 1031 CORP., has been named to GlobeSt.’s 2026 Women of Influence list in the Consultant/Advisor/Independent Professional category, the company said.
The recognition honors professionals who have made an impact on the commercial real estate industry through advisory work and leadership, according to GlobeSt.
McDonnell has led 1031 CORP. since 1994, overseeing its growth into a national qualified intermediary serving real estate investors across all 50 states.
She also helped establish the Certified Exchange Specialist® credentialing program through the Federation of Exchange Accommodators and has served in multiple leadership roles within the organization, including as president.
“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible team at 1031 CORP. and the clients who trust us,” McDonnell said.
GlobeSt. Editor-in-Chief Natalie Dolce said this year’s honorees were selected based on professional achievements, industry impact, and contributions to advancing the role of women in commercial real estate.
McDonnell has more than 30 years of experience guiding investors through tax-deferred like-kind exchanges and has received multiple industry awards, including the Federation of Exchange Accommodators’ President’s Award.
1031 CORP., headquartered in Collegeville, provides services related to Section 1031 exchanges for real estate investors.
