PHILADELPHIA, PA & NEW YORK, NY & LOS ANGELES, CA — Lovell Minnick Partners said it has promoted three senior executives, naming Scott Shebelsky as partner and elevating Alex Lovell and Roumi Zlateva to principal roles, as the private equity firm positions itself for its next phase of growth.
The firm said the promotions reflect long-term contributions across operations, deal execution, and portfolio company support, while strengthening leadership capacity as Lovell Minnick expands its investment platform.
“Scott, Alex and Roumi each bring a distinct perspective and capability that strengthens the firm and positions us well for the next phase of growth,” said Steve Pierson, managing partner at Lovell Minnick. He said the firm prioritizes developing leaders who advance its investment strategy and support portfolio company performance.
Shebelsky joined Lovell Minnick in 2016 and has served as chief financial officer, overseeing finance, accounting, and operations while leading technology and process initiatives as the firm scaled. His promotion to partner reflects his role in building institutional infrastructure and his broader strategic involvement with the investment team and management company.
“Scott’s impressive operational contributions and commitment to driving efficiencies throughout his ten years at the firm position him well to step into his new role as partner,” said Bob Belke, managing partner at Lovell Minnick.
Lovell joined the firm in 2021 and has been involved in sourcing, evaluating, and executing investments, working closely with management teams across multiple portfolio companies. As a principal, he will assume expanded responsibilities leading transactions, deepening coverage in core investment areas, and mentoring junior professionals.
Zlateva, who joined Lovell Minnick in 2017, has served as a senior deal professional and board participant, partnering with founders and management teams on organic growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions. In her new role as principal and head of capital markets, she will lead financing strategy, manage lender and intermediary relationships, and support more complex transactions across the portfolio. She will also coordinate co-investment activities alongside investor relations and deal teams.
Lovell Minnick said the promotions reinforce its commitment to internal leadership development as the firm continues to pursue opportunities across its targeted sectors.
