PHILADELPHIA, PA — Oyster House (1516 Sansom Street) is kicking off a high-profile December with the return of its Guest Chef Lobster Roll Series, featuring Amá’s chef Frankie Ramirez from December 9 through 13 — and a month-long “Caviar Service” offering that adds a luxe twist to holiday dining.
Ramirez’s limited-run lobster roll, priced at $39, blends butter-poached lobster with salsa macha, refried beans, and cilantro macho on a split-top bun. Proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, extending the restaurant’s longstanding focus on charitable collaborations. The roll will be available during lunch and dinner service throughout the week.
Oyster House will launch the special with a dedicated happy hour on December 9 from 4 to 6 p.m., giving guests an early opportunity to sample the chef’s creation alongside the restaurant’s regular raw bar offerings.
Alongside the guest chef series, Oyster House is rolling out an ambitious December “Caviar Service,” offering a variety of preparations that range from indulgent to playful. Guests can choose from raw oysters dressed with caviar, latkes topped with whipped crème fraiche and smoked trout roe, and Italian Osetra served with accompaniments including Johnny cakes, crème fraiche, pickled onions, and grated eggs. Specialty jars produced for the restaurant by Wulf’s Fish will also be available.
Both the Ramirez collaboration and the caviar menu will be offered through the month’s lunch and dinner services, positioning Oyster House for what is expected to be one of its busiest holiday seasons.
