FORT WASHINGTON, PA — In a significant leadership move, CMC Energy Services’ Board of Directors and shareholders have appointed Lisa Stotts as the company’s President and CEO. Stotts, who served as interim President and CEO for over six months, will now officially helm the organization.

Stotts’ elevation from her interim role marks the latest chapter in her impressive tenure at CMC. She has been with the company since 2017, serving as CFO and overseeing several departments including human resources, customer care, IT, and accounting. Her extensive leadership experience and deep understanding of the business have been instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and ensuring the financial well-being of the company.

Eileen McGinnis, CMC’s Board Chair and a former president & CEO, spoke highly of Stotts’ capabilities. “The Board of Directors has worked with Lisa as CFO for the past seven years and have consistently been impressed with her knowledge of the business, cross-functional skills, and loyalty to CMC’s employees and its mission,” said McGinnis. “We are confident that the company will continue to thrive under her leadership.”

The appointment of Stotts also underscores CMC’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. Mimi Iklé-Khalsa, CMC’s primary owner, emphasized the importance of maintaining the tradition of strong female leadership that her mother, Doris Iklé, initiated when she founded CMC over 46 years ago. “Lisa continues that tradition. It is important to me that CMC continues to be headed by a woman who shares the owners’ commitment to diversity and inclusion. I look forward to working with Lisa in her new position,” said Iklé-Khalsa.

In her new role, Stotts aims to further CMC’s mission of providing customers with comfortable homes while reducing their energy bills and positively impacting the planet’s sustainability. “That’s a priority that has been a constant for CMC since its inception and it’s a goal I’m excited to tackle as the energy efficiency industry shifts its focus from only energy savings to decreasing greenhouse gas emissions,” Stotts said.

The appointment of Stotts as President and CEO marks a new era for CMC Energy Services, promising continued growth and a strengthened commitment to its mission in the face of evolving industry trends.
