LabTwin, an AI-powered, voice-activated digital lab assistant, is leading the charge in transforming laboratory operations. The latest in artificial intelligence technology, aimed at streamlining workflows and boosting productivity, will now be available to life sciences organizations in the United States and Canada.
LabTwin uses machine learning to enable hands-free data capture through natural language in the lab. By integrating with recently released Large Language Models, LabTwin serves as a 24/7 virtual companion for scientists. It provides hands-free retrieval of scientific or company-specific information by integrating with instruments and internal or external data sources.
The digital assistant can answer specific bench-side questions from users, including reagent location, instrument status, scientific knowledge such as molecular weights, and safety information. LabTwin will soon support GxP clients, offering flexibility to meet their compliance and validation needs. The voice-recognition software currently operates in English and German and recognizes a variety of accents in both languages.

Configured for the Food and Beverage, Pharmaceutical/GxP Manufacturing, and Chemicals/Petrochemical industries, it offers expanded interfaces to any LIMS or direct export to CSV. The tool ensures full regulatory compliance via audit trail and electronic signatures. Other features include geolocation services, dashboards, configurable reports, image capture, and barcoding.
The SampleVision™ mobile app is compatible with Apple iOS or Android smartphones and tablets. It currently supports English, Spanish, and French languages and is available on Chrome and Firefox for Windows and Android, and Safari for Apple iOS devices.
