Lennar Targets Lancaster Demand With 53-Townhome Project

Lennar

LANCASTER, PA — Lennar will open a 53-home townhome development in Lancaster’s West End this fall, marking the homebuilder’s first community in the city as demand for walkable housing continues to support higher-density residential projects.

The Towns at West End will offer three-story townhomes starting at 1,872 square feet, with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. Prices will begin in the high $500,000s, the company announced.

The development will be located near Buchanan Park and within walking distance of Franklin & Marshall College. Downtown Lancaster’s restaurants, shops and arts venues are also nearby.

The project gives Lennar an entry into an urban Lancaster neighborhood after years of redevelopment and investment across the city.

“Lancaster City has seen a meaningful wave of revitalization in recent years, and The Towns at West End represents a unique opportunity to live in the heart of it all,” Lennar Pennsylvania and Delaware Division President Tench Tilghman said.

The community is scheduled to open in fall 2026. Its location also provides access to Route 30, Route 222 and Lancaster’s Amtrak station for regional commuters.
