Lane Restriction Planned on Markley Street for Bridge Repair in Norristown

Lane restrictions

NORRISTOWN, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that lane restrictions will take place next week on northbound Markley Street (U.S. 202 South) as part of a $7.8 million project to repair the Elm Street Stone Arch Bridge in Montgomery County.

From Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, traffic will be reduced to a single lane between Harding Boulevard/Spruce Street and Marshall Street from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

PennDOT advises drivers to allow extra travel time and remain alert when passing through the construction zone. All work is weather dependent.
