LOWER POTTSGROVE TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that periodic lane closures are planned next week on U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, as part of a major reconstruction project.
From Monday, August 25, through Thursday, August 28, westbound U.S. 422 will have intermittent lane restrictions between the Sanatoga (Evergreen Road) and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. During the same period, eastbound U.S. 422 will experience periodic lane closures between the Armand Hammer Boulevard and Sanatoga interchanges from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The work is part of an $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve 2.1 miles of the expressway, including bridge replacements between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road. Motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time. All activities are weather dependent.
