PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that inspection work will take place next week on the I-95 Girard Point Bridge in Philadelphia, requiring temporary lane restrictions.
From Monday, September 8, through Friday, September 12, a northbound lane will be closed daily between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The closure will extend from the Enterprise Avenue interchange to the Broad Street (Route 611) interchange.
PennDOT advised drivers to expect traffic delays and allow extra travel time when passing through the area. The schedule is subject to change depending on weather conditions.
