LANCASTER, PA — The crack of the bat and the buzz of a new season are returning to Lancaster as the Lancaster Stormers kick off spring training with a free Fan Fest packed with family-friendly fun this Saturday.
With Opening Day just days away, the community is invited to get an early look at the 2026 Stormers while enjoying a full afternoon of activities at the ballpark. From meeting players to watching live wrestling and letting kids roam free in the park, the event is designed to bring fans of all ages together ahead of the season.
Fans who arrive early can step onto the field for a rare chance to play catch and meet the team during a pregame autograph session from 12 to 12:20 p.m. Nearby, the Three Legacies Wrestling Expo will bring high-energy entertainment from 12 to 12:45 p.m., while the concourse will feature the Solvit Academy Children’s Business Fair.
Throughout the afternoon, visitors can pick up a magnet schedule giveaway courtesy of OAL, browse new Stormers merchandise, and take advantage of ticket deals for the upcoming season. Kids will have free access to the park, and after the game, fans can take a lap around the bases themselves.
The Stormers will face the Black Sox in a spring training matchup beginning at 1 p.m., offering a first glimpse at this year’s roster in action.
Organizers note that dogs are welcome at the event, though waivers must be signed upon entry.
The celebration sets the stage for the regular season, which opens Tuesday at York at 6:30 p.m. The team’s home opener is scheduled for Friday at 6:45 p.m.
