PHILADELPHIA, PA — Kremp Florist has formalized seven-day same-day flower delivery across roughly 1,000 square miles of the Philadelphia region, including Chester County, using in-house designers and company drivers as the family-owned retailer emphasizes direct fulfillment over third-party order routing.
The company reported that orders placed by 12:30 p.m. in the recipient’s time zone are eligible to be designed and delivered that afternoon. Kremp operates Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The delivery area extends across Philadelphia neighborhoods including Center City, Fishtown, Northern Liberties, University City and Old City, as well as communities in Chester, Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware counties.
Main Line coverage includes Bala Cynwyd, Merion, Wynnewood, Narberth, Haverford, Havertown and Upper Darby. The company also lists Abington, Glenside, Doylestown, Bensalem, Southampton, Horsham and Norristown among communities served.
Kremp indicated that suburban routes are covered two to three times per day and that same-day service is available on weekends and holidays, subject to order timing and delivery capacity.
The company’s operating model contrasts with national flower-order platforms that may transfer orders to affiliated florists based on availability. Kremp designs local orders at its own shop and uses its own drivers for deliveries within the Philadelphia-area service territory.
“A local florist with its own drivers can put a designed arrangement at the door the same day,” Chad Kremp, vice president of sales and a third-generation member of the family business, stated.
The company is also positioning same-day fulfillment around sympathy and funeral arrangements, where delivery timing is less flexible. Kremp reported that it coordinates directly with funeral homes and delivers to residences, hospitals, assisted-living facilities, places of worship and funeral homes across the region.
Orders received before the cutoff can be prepared for delivery ahead of an evening viewing, according to the company.
Kremp has provided same-day service in the Philadelphia region for more than 65 years. The company is a third-generation family-owned florist and has received the National Retail Florist of the Year award from the Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association.
For orders outside its local delivery territory, Kremp uses a network of professional florists and shipping rather than its Philadelphia-area driver network.
