KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — Lindy Communities’ 251 DeKalb apartment complex in King of Prussia has secured the Pennsylvania Apartment Association’s highest combined property recognition for three consecutive years, earning nine first-place finishes across leasing, maintenance and overall property performance from 2023 through 2025.

The 628-unit residential property received the association’s Keystone Trilogy Award in each of those years, a designation reserved for communities that finish first in all three categories during the same annual competition.

The recognition reflects consistent performance across the operational functions that influence apartment management, tenant services and property upkeep.

Owned and managed by Lindy Communities, 251 DeKalb occupies 26 acres at 251 W. DeKalb Pike, approximately one mile from King of Prussia Mall.

The property offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 395 to 1,527 square feet.

“Nine first-place finishes in three years come down to our on-site team,” said Brett Goldenhorn, senior vice president of operations at Lindy Communities. “Residents choose 251 DeKalb for the location and the amenities, and they stay because of the people who work there.”

The Pennsylvania Apartment Association evaluates properties through its Keystone Awards program, which recognizes performance in leasing operations, maintenance and overall property management.

For 251 DeKalb, the three consecutive Trilogy Awards represent first-place finishes in each category in 2023, 2024 and 2025.

The property’s amenities include a saltwater swimming pool, fitness center, recreation areas, community garden and indoor and outdoor children’s play spaces.

Residents also have access to package delivery services, valet trash collection, outdoor parking and rentable garage spaces.

The community permits up to two dogs or cats per apartment without breed or size restrictions and provides two dog parks and an on-site dog washing facility.

Lindy Communities also reports that the property uses electricity sourced entirely from renewable, zero-emission energy sources.

Additional sustainability features include four electric vehicle charging stations, Energy Star appliances, energy-efficient windows, LED lighting and recycling services.

Apartments include upgraded kitchen and bathroom fixtures, while one-, two- and three-bedroom units feature in-unit washers and dryers.

The property’s location along Route 202 provides access to Interstate 76, the Pennsylvania Turnpike, SEPTA service and Valley Forge National Historical Park.

Stephen Cicala, community director at 251 DeKalb, attributed the property’s performance to coordination between its leasing and maintenance operations.

“With 628 apartments, that takes real coordination, and it’s what we’re most proud of,” Cicala said, referring to the staff’s efforts to respond to residents’ service requests.

The awards provide Lindy Communities with a third consecutive year of industry recognition for the property’s management operations in the competitive King of Prussia rental market.
