KING OF PRUSSIA, PA — JM Search ranked No. 19 on Forbes’ 2026 list of America’s Best Executive Recruiting Firms as the company continued expanding its executive placement business focused on private equity and growth-oriented clients.
The ranking placed JM Search among the top 20 firms nationally following surveys that included more than 18,000 recommendations from recruiters, hiring managers and candidates evaluating firms on placement quality, client service and industry reputation.
JM Search has expanded rapidly in recent years, placing more than 1,400 executives over the past 24 months and adding 45 partners and principals during 2025.
Chief Executive Officer John Marshall attributed the firm’s growth to its emphasis on senior-led recruiting assignments and sector specialization.
“Our clients are making critical leadership decisions that define the future of their businesses and investments,” Marshall said. “They need a partner who understands their world, moves with urgency, and remains fully engaged throughout the search process.”
The company focuses on retained executive recruiting for private equity-backed and growth-stage organizations.
The Forbes ranking adds to a series of recent industry recognitions for JM Search. The firm also ranked No. 11 on Hunt Scanlon Media’s 2026 Top 50 Recruiters list and appeared on the Inc. 5000 and Financial Times Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies rankings during 2025.
Marshall was also named a finalist in EY’s Entrepreneur Of The Year 2026 Greater Philadelphia program.
