FORT WASHINGTON, PA — Jefferson Apartment Group and CP Capital marked the opening of the 310-unit J Veridian Upper Dublin apartment community on April 20 at 1125 Virginia Drive in Upper Dublin Township.
The development replaces a former office park and consists of three five-story buildings and eight acres of open space, including a 1.4-mile trail connecting to the Cross County Trail.
Local officials said the project is part of ongoing efforts to redevelop the area into a mixed-use district with residential, commercial, and recreational components.
“And up until today, the residential was missing,” Upper Dublin Township Commissioner Harm Scherpbier said during a ribbon-cutting event held April 14.
The community includes outdoor amenities such as pickleball courts, a dog park, community garden plots, and a courtyard with a pool, grilling stations, and lounge areas.
Indoor amenities include a clubroom, fitness center, co-working space, theater, and game areas.
Apartments range from one to three bedrooms and include features such as quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and plank flooring.
“Jefferson Apartment Group is proud to create communities that elevate apartment living for residents and increase much-needed housing supply,” said Drew Chapman, senior vice president and development partner at Jefferson Apartment Group.
The project was developed with equity partner CP Capital, with financing provided by United Bank and property management handled by JAG Management Company.
