WILMINGTON, DE — InterDigital, Inc. (Nasdaq: IDCC) has signed a new licensing agreement with Panasonic. This agreement covers patents for 4G and 5G cellular, HEVC video, and WiFi technologies.
Eeva Hakoranta, Chief Licensing Officer at InterDigital, expressed satisfaction with the partnership, noting the mutual trust and respect between the companies. “I also appreciate that this agreement extends our license with Panasonic to our valuable 5G portfolio, our WiFi assets, and our HEVC patents, where licensees continue to see a lot of value,” Hakoranta said.
